- Seroma: This is a condition in which fluid collects around the implant. This can cause swelling, bruising, or pain.

- Hematoma: Similar to seroma, this condition is the result of blood collecting around the implant. This condition also causes bruising and swelling.

- Rash: Some patients may experience an uncomfortable rash on the breast and surrounding skin.

- Calcium deposits: Sometimes hard lumps of calcium get deposited under the skin surrounding a breast implant. These will feel similar to a cancerous lump and will need to be examined by a doctor to rule out the need for further treatment.
