This patient is a 22 year old female who had always been insecure about the appearance of her nose. She disliked her nose’s large size in relation to her face, as well its dorsal hump and poorly defined, bulbous tip. In addition, she had an acute nasolabial angle which was accentuated when she smiled. Dr Perez performed an open rhinoplasty to correct these issues – reducing the hump, adding tip refinement structures, and placing spreader grafts and a strut graft made from septal cartilage removed during surgery. The patient enjoys feeling happy and confident in her appearance with her new refined and feminine nose.
