The new developments of rhinoplasty 2019 consists in the removal of intercostal cartilage between the 3rd ad 4th rip from a cadaver, which completely eliminates the possibility of feeling pain. The purpose of the procedure leads towards the enhancement of the features of the nose accordingly to the face and desires of the patient besides to compensate any health condition.

Many people around the world are opting to go under the knife in order to fix their nose. This procedure, called a “Rhinoplasty”, is done for several reasons; some people do it in order to fix a physical problem they may have, such as facial pain, snoring and/or difficulty breathing. Other people do it to enhance their appearance and/or refine their look. It can be anything from length, width, nostrils that are not symmetric and more commonly to change their profile.

Rhinoplasty is a low risk procedure and it is not performed so much in order to reduce the size of the nose, but more importantly, to give your nose a more elegant look. The goal is to achieve a more discreet and refined appearance, without really changing the facial features of the individual.

Changes to the tip of the nose, dorsal hump can successfully be made, while at the same time restoring the airway and stability of the nose. These improvements can be accomplished without making the person look like a completely different person. The goal should always be to have a natural looking nose, since people will see the individual better but can’t really tell what the change is. See sample pictures here.

Basically, this whole procedure should be like getting a haircut: no major or obvious changes, people can’t tell what it is that makes the person look somewhat different, yet much better than before. It should be a “natural” change, not something that makes it look like you became someone else entirely. There are two approaches to rhinoplasty: endonasal and external. The endonasal approach consists in internal incisions that allows the repain of multiple issues whereas the external consists in an approximately six millimeters incision underneath the nose.

Most people are able to return to their normal lives within 2-3 weeks after their surgery, though any kind of exercise may not be recommended by your surgeon for the first 5 weeks. Obviously, this all depends on a patient to patient basis since all cases vary in degree of difficulty and recovery time. The scar will be practically invisible approximately three months after the surgery.
