This is a 41-year-old woman who previously underwent silicone breast augmentation and now has severe capsular contracture. Procedure: Removal and exchange of breast implants, silicone (implants used smooth, round, silicone gel, moderate plus profile, 375 cc placed subpectorally), capsulectomy and capsulotomy of bilateral breasts.
